Here’s something that I finally learned after being hit over the head several times:
Some people just want the info and they want it now, in the shortest possible way. Here’s an example:
Show up at 7 a.m. at Greenport High School. We’ll take care of the rest.
Period.
Other people, who are just as smart (or smarter!) want ALL the details, like in this example:
Show up at the 7:00 a.m. at Greenport High School, which is located at 720 Front Street, on Sunday August 24, 2008. There’s parking in front and around the side. Be sure to bring your bicycle, helmet, pump, and luggage. The first thing to do is to go to the check-in table...
